 Our Policies
Our goal at PAWS-ON-ME, LLC is to provide your pets with the best care possible for all services we provide. Please take a moment to review our polices and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Meet and Greets An in-home complimentry interview or “Meet and Greet” is required for all new clients prior to our first scheduled visit. We must meet you and your pets and assess your needs before we make a commitment to providing care for your pets. During the “Meet and Greet” we will have the opportunity to meet you and interact with your pet(s). We will do a quick walk through to learn where your pet's supplies are including food, medicine, leashes, walking area, etc. We strongly suggest this interview take place close to the start of our services so meeting us will still be fresh in your pet’s memory.
Cancellations To cancel a visit, please call or email. If you need to cancel a daily walk please call at least 6 hours in advance of our scheduled arrival time. For overnights, please call at least 48 hours in advance. If we arrive at your home and can not gain access, your pet is not at home, or if you simply no longer need the visit, you will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled visit. Because of high demand during holiday seasons, cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the first date of service to avoid a charge. Half price fee for cancellations within 2 weeks of start date. Full chargewill apply to cancellations made within 24 hours during holiday seasons. We do understand emergencies happen and we reserve the right to waive any fees for these situations.
Payments Payment for dog walking services are due at the end of each week. For pet sitting, a deposit is required and balance is due on the last day service is provided. We accept cash, check, online payments & Paypal.
Holiday Visits We encourage you to make reservations in advance for holiday visits!! 100% of the fee is due on the first day of the holiday visit. Additional fees of $10 per walk & $30 per day for overnights will apply on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve,Day, New Years Eve/Day, Easter, July 4th. Extreme Weather Conditions At PAWS-ON-ME, your pet’s health and safety is always our first concern. With this in mind, there may be a few days during the year that we need to change your scheduled visit as we adjust for the weather. In extreme hot and/or cold conditions we will shorten the length of your dog’s time outside. We will make sure they get a chance to do their business and spend the remainder of the visit indoors. No exceptions other than an emergency vet visit will be made. Please call if you are staying home or returning home early due to bad weather. Our goal is to get everyone off of the roads and safely home as quickly as possible.
